DuetotherapidgrowthoftheInternet,theInternethasgivendrasticinfluenceandimpacttonotonlyourdailylifebutalsoenterpriseinformationapplications.Objectorientedtechnologyiswidelyusedinsoftwareindustrycurrently.Theweb-basedanddistributedobject-basedcomputingsystemistheintegrationofobject-orientedtechnologyanddistributedcomputing,whichisanewcomputingparadigm.Owingtothebenefitsofreusability,maintainabilityandmodularityofobject-orientedtechnology,thereisahighdemandfordevelopmentofhighlyreliable,highqualityandeasilymaintainabledistributedobjectcomputingsysteminawiderangeofapplicationdomains.Thisparadigmgivesanewsystemarchitecturetobetakenintoconsiderationforsolvingtheproblemsofinteroperabilityandintegrationofheterogeneoussystems.TheCommonObjectRequestBrokerArchitecture(CORBA)providesastandardinfrastructureforperformingobjectsinteroperabilitytransparently.However,aweb-based,CORBA-basedanddistributedobjectarchitecturewillstringentlyfacetheperformancesofCORBAobjectsbindingandinteroperabilitybetweenCORBAobjects,andobjectsmanagementissueswhenthenumberofCORBAobjectsaresoaring.Inthispaper,weproposeCORBAbasedmultithreadingandFactorymodelstoimprovetheperformanceofthedistributedobjectarchitecture.Also,wegiveaweb-basedandCORBA-basedtelecommunicationserviceorderprovisioningsystemtoactasanexperimentalevaluation. |
